On 2 August 2023, Dr. Junjie Chen represents iLab@HKU (https://ilab.hku.hk/) to share a collaborative project with Leighton Asia in ConTech Accelerator. In this project, they aim to expand iLab’s MiC Trilogy solution (https://lnkd.in/gXBVcBXy), i.e., e-InStar for quality control, e-TranStar for logistics management, and e-InStallStar for onsite assembly, to boardwalk offsite construction in Island Eastern Corridor. ConTech Accelerator is jointly launched by the Construction Industry Council (CIC) and the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) to accelerate technology trials and adoption across the construction industry. Shortlisted tech ventures will have the opportunity to refine the pre-ready or ready-to-market ConTech (construction technology) solutions and conduct trials or affirm large-scale adoption in different sites and premises with our participating corporate partners.
